You know how we stand around the water cooler at work  conversing about  what's going on in the office or after work everybody goes to that favorite after hours spot to wind down talk,socialize and gossip about the news of the day or just what ever, people will always have the need to be social and interact with other.I've always tried to use this occasions for business networking but could never make any head way,those old multilevel marketing technics just don't work any more.But then something exciting happened something called social networking or web 2.0 which is quickly changing how people use the internet.

Remember back in the old days when the internet was used exclusively for finding information and I really don't mean old days because the internet is still an its infancy web 2.0 is just another stage of growth that the internet is embarking upon.But before web 2.0 we couldn't interact with the information or that anonymous person behind that long sales letter trying to sell us something.

Well now with the advent of web 2.0 which has produced web sites like myspace,facebook,squidoo,blogs and countless other forms of social networking sites,all of the sudden socializing and interacting on the internet has become a reality,and has created an atmosphere for promoting  yourself or business opportunity that you might offering.Online communities are being created all over the internet,and believe it or not there's a community for everybody and just about every niche topic you can think of.

But the most important aspect of online marketing  if you want  to be  successful  with  your  internet  business or MLM opportunity is that you've got to be yourself in other words you've got to build your own personal identity, no gimmicks,no crazy nicknames just be you.I always like to use my full name and picture an any online marketing that I'm doing I want people to know who I am,that I'm a real person and not some anonymous  character in a back ally in cyberspace you've got to be visible.
